SAN™ 1 for embroidering products made from sturdy materials
The SAN™ 1 version of needle DBxK5 is particularly suitable for embroidering products made of sturdy materials such as baseball caps or leather. The reinforced blade increases the stability of the needle and the special geometries of the scarf and eye improve the pick-up of the loop. In addition, the larger eye simplifies threading and allows the embroidery thread to slide through unhindered. The GEBEDUR™ coating increases the wear protection of the needle, especially in the point and eye area.
Flat shank at 225°
On sewing machine needles with a flat shank, one or multiple sides of the shank are flat. The flat shanks are used for radial positioning of the sewing machine needle in the needle bar. This ensures that the needle is positioned in exactly the same specified angle to the threading direction after each change. This guarantees a clear position of the needle in relation to the hook.
