Special application needle

SAN™ 12 for creating even 2-needle decorative seams on leather

The SAN™ 12 special application needle is equipped with a flat shank that ensures that the cutting geometry of the needle is precisely aligned. This results in two even seams with an optimum seam appearance. The SAN™ 12 with LR point is used for slanted seams, where the SAN™ 12 needle is only used on the right-hand side. The SAN™ 12 with S point is used for straight seams, where the SAN™ 12 needle is used on both sides.

• Cuts the leather in the sewing direction at an angle of 45°, slanted to the right
• Thread: slight to moderate slant (leatherdependent), slightly elevated
• Stitch holes easily visible
• Suitable for short to medium stitches

Needle recommendation
